Web Developer

Glasgow (Hybrid) Tue-Thu in office | Full-time Permanent

We’re looking for a Web Developer to join our tight-knit team in Glasgow. You’ll work across creative and technical projects for some brilliant clients, with real input into how things are built. If that sounds like your kind of place, read on.

Rain brings Technology, Creative, and Marketing together as one connected team. We build CMS platforms, web applications, APIs, and integrated digital experiences for brands like Heineken, Comgest, and Arnold Clark.

What you'll be doing

You'll have real input here. We're not a place where developers follow a spec and ship. If you see a better way to do something, it will be part of the conversation.

You'll work across a mix of CMS-backed websites, bespoke web applications, and front-end builds, owning your work from brief to delivery. The projects are varied, the clients are ambitious, and the team you'll be working with are good people who care about getting things right.

What we're looking for

  • Ideally experience across most of the following:

  • .NETFramework / Core, MVC & C#

  • Front-end HTML, CSS & JavaScript

  • Umbraco CMS (we're a Gold Partner)

  • Microsoft Azure & DevOps

  • GitSource control

  • Sitecore advantageous

What to expect at Rain

  • Hybrid working - Tuesday to Thursday in our Glasgow studio, Monday and Friday remote

  • A small, senior team where your work genuinely shapes what gets built

  • Projects that stretch across technology, creative, and marketing, not just one lane

  • Direct access to clients and decision-makers, no layers between you and the work

Benefits

  • 34 days holiday - 24 days annual leave plus 9 bank holidays, all flexible

  • Your birthday off, on top of that

  • Vitality private health cover

  • Umbraco training and certification as part of our Gold Partner status

  • Enhanced parental leave

  • Summer day out, Christmas party, and regular team socials

  • We're also proud partners of Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.

To apply, please sent CV, a short note about yourself, and a link to any work you're proud of to hello@rainagency.co.uk.
